What I can't do

I can't change, move, or cancel a booking, because I don't sell anything: this is an independent site, and others issue the tickets. If you booked with GetYourGuide, the link you need is in your confirmation email, and all six options listed on this site can be cancelled for free up to 24 hours beforehand. If you bought at the ticket office, that's between you and the museum. The six options, with their conditions.

And I can't tell you for sure if a room will be open tomorrow. The museum republishes its opening plan every few weeks and states that for rooms with unguaranteed opening, it's best to ask "directly at the ticket office before entering the Museum." The number to call is CoopCulture's, 081 0098800, every day from 9 AM to 5 PM. What's currently closed I keep updated here.

Corrections are the emails I want most

Prices, ratings, and review counts on this site were checked on September 14, 2026 and they change: prices on online listings are "starting from," opening hours vary with the seasons, and the collection layout changes on its own. If any data here is old, tell me which page and I'll fix it. The two that age fastest are closures e reviews; the one where being wrong costs the reader most is how to get there, because the main entrance has been moved to the western gate and half the maps out there don't know it.

From Naples, a few metro stops from the museum, which is at Piazza Museo 18/19. If you want to see where it is: Piazza Museo on Google Maps. Metro Line 1 stops at Museo and Line 2 at Cavour; the museum's eastern staircase is immediately to the right when you exit the Museo stop.
